Murway Car Rental & Sales is a family-owned enterprise that’s been around for over 40 years in Cape Town where good customer service remains the cornerstone of our business. Once upon a time… In 1974, the brothers Murudker (Mustapha, Ebrahim, Hassan & Suleiman), prompted by their passion for cars and motorsport, started Murway Motors – a small, independent car dealership on the corner of Klipfontein & Ernest roads in their childhood suburb of Rylands Estate, Cape Town. As time went on, they not only continued to thrive in the vehicle sales trade, they expanded into vehicle repairs as well as vehicle rental (originally started in the 1990’s in Belgravia Estate, Cape Town).

A rental agent from Murway Car Rental will personally deliver the car to the airport to meet you off your flight. Please look out for our rental agent holding a board with your name on it as you exit the luggage retrieval area. The rental agent can be met at a designated place at the airport by prior arrangement.
The car must be left in the airport public parking areas and the keys, radio face and parking ticket must be locked in the boot/trunk of the car. The car must be locked. One of Murway Car Rental’s rental agents will collect the car with the spare keys. Please speak to one of our rental agents with regard to confirm where the car is (or should be) parked.
Rates are calculated on a 24-hour period from the time you sign the Rental Agreement until the vehicle is returned to the depot or the airport. We do allow 2-hour “grace period” on the final day of return as a gesture of goodwill.
What insurance cover is included in the hire of the car? All rates include Standard Cover plus an Excess (payable by the hirer) in the event of an accident or theft. Please note that Standard Cover is compulsory.
The excess amount is the Hirer’s maximum liability in the event of an accident or theft.
Extra Cover / Reduced Excess reduces or waivers the excess amount at an additional daily charge. Please note that any form of cover, whether standard or Extra Cover / Reduced Excess, does not apply when the hirer is criminally negligent e.g. being involved in an accident while driving under the influence of alcohol.
No, the Cover is valid for damage or loss to the car itself.
